When Ubuntu 18.04 LTS was released, I decided to install it on my lab computer running Windows 10 and VMware Workstation Pro. the steps below is how to adjust, resize and move Ubuntu Dock or Dash.
This brief tutorial shows students and new users how to resize or adjust Ubuntu dash also known as dock. This post also shows you how change the location of the dash from its default left corner to the right or bottom.
Ubuntu Dash is the bar docked on the left of your screen below the Activities menu. On the left of the overview, you will find the dash. The dash shows you your favorite and running applications. Click the icon on the dash to open the application and if the application is already running, it will highlight it. You can also drag and move icons around on the dash easily.
When you right-click an application icon on the dash, it shows you more options of the app. To access your windows or running applications, click the Activities menu at the top right corner.
Configuring Ubuntu Dock / Dash
