Making Google Chrome Default Browser in Windows 10
Windows 10 is awesome and so is Google Chrome. I’m a big Google Chrome fan, so how do you make Chrome the default web browser in Windows 10?
I am a big fan of Google Chrome. Since I first installed it, I’ve been using it and nothing else. I used to like Firefox prior to Chrome, but fell for Chrome and never looked back.
This brief guide shows you how to make Google Chrome the default web browser in Windows 10.
Step 1: Install Google Chrome
You first step is go first install Google Chrome. You can’t use or make Chrome the default browser if you haven’t ready installed it. To do so, go to Chrome download page and get a copy for your computer.

After installing continue to make Chrome the default browser.
Step 2: Make Chrome the default browser
After installing, click Start and select Settings as shown in the image below.

When Windows Settings page opens, click the System group (Display, notifications, apps, power) as shown in the image below.

From there browse and select Default apps on the left as shown in the image below.

Then click Web Browser and choose the browser you wish to make the default from the list.

Once select, close our and you’re done.
If you wish to change back to Windows defaults, go back to the default apps page and click the Reset button. This will reset all the default apps back to Windows 10 defaults.
