To install Spotify from via Snap package management, run the commands below.
sudo apt install snapd sudo snap install spotify
Once the installation is complete, you should see similar message as the one below:
spotify 126.96.36.1992.g2b11de83 from Spotify✓ installed
That should install Spotify on Ubuntu. You can start the Spotify client either from the terminal by typing spotify or by clicking on the Spotify icon (Activities -> Spotify).
