The same Find my device feature can be used to locate and lock a Windows device. Whether the device is stolen or missing, it is a great feature to have in Windows. Find my device works only if you sign in to your device with a Microsoft account and, that you’re an administrator on it.

It also requires that Windows location services is turned on for the device, even if other users on the device have turned off location settings for their apps.
