How to Add or Remove Desktop Stickers on Windows 11

This post shows students and new users steps to enable or disable desktop stickers in Windows 11. Desktop Stickers is a new feature in Windows 11 that isn’t generally available to all users just yet.

With desktop stickers, users will be able to place stickers on their desktop and remain there even if the desktop wallpaper is switched or replaced. Once stickers are added, users will be able to resize and move the stickers to other parts of their desktop.

As of now, the new stickers feature is only available to computers enrolled in Microsoft Insider Preview program, and specifically machines that have installed Windows 11 build 25162 or later.

Even with those builds, the new Stickers feature is still hidden. You’ll have to enable it via Windows registry in order to use it. Below, we’ll show you how to do that.
